Meet The Team

Colin Voice

Colin moved with his wife to Stratford-upon-Avon in 2019 having served for 10 years as the Pastor of an Evangelical Church in Surrey. He has been involved in Christian ministry for over 40 years and now serves as a deacon at Stratford Baptist Church.

Colin’s interests are; photography, drawing and arts and crafts in general. He likes singing, and trying his hand at a few musical instruments. He likes American Gospel and Country music, spending time with family and most things Disney!

Sheila Brown

Sheila has worked as a Social Worker for 12 years and for a number of years now has been a very active member of Stratford Methodist Church as a local circuit preacher. Sheila has also been trained for and served as a chaplain at Warwick Hospital and also with the local Sea Cadets for which she had special Naval training. Her hobbies / Interests include; reading, crosswords, walking, opera and food!

Anne McCulloch

Anne grew up in South-East London and moved to Stratford after she met and then married her husband, Malcolm, over 20 years ago. For 10 years Anne worked in Jubilate Christian Bookshop in Stratford before it closed in 2013. Since then, she has worked for Railway Mission, who provide chaplaincy support to railway staff across England, Scotland and Wales. Anne has also volunteered as part of the chaplaincy team at the Shakespeare Hospice and for nine years was on the leadership team at Stratford Baptist Church.

Fran Voice

Fran has a background in nursing and midwifery but since finishing Bible college, has spent much of her time working with children and sharing God’s Word with them.

Fran has trained in counselling and worked with Care for The Family at one of their Pregnancy Crisis centres in Birmingham.

Fran currently serves on the Girls Brigade National Executive Committee and enjoys working behind the scenes to support friends and family members. Two of Fran’s favourite activities are reading and writing letters.

Kay Dyer

Kay has lived in Stratford since 1971 when she married Roy Dyer a Stratfordian. She taught at Stratford College from 1988 - 2004 for Business, IT and Public service Courses and was also a Scout leader in the Clopton area for many years. Kay has previous experience as a hospital chaplain, workplace chaplain for the Fire Service in Leamington and with "Friendship and Faith" in Stratford Town Centre a few years ago. She is looking forward to getting out and about again with the new team.

Beckey Barton

Beckey trained as a Youth and Community worker before moving to Stratford with her husband, Paul, in 2004 to take up a youth work post for the 3 Anglican parishes in the town. She has since worked as an Associate Minister for a church in South West London. Beckey has trained in counselling and mentoring and has been involved in many local community projects including a three year term as a Street Pastor. Beckey is currently a governor at Stratford Upon Avon School and runs a local support group for people with fibromyalgia and M.E.

Patrick Taylor

Patrick was an engineer working in the railway industry before becoming a vicar. He moved with his family to Stratford in 2013 when he became the Vicar of Holy Trinity church. His hobbies include driving and maintaining a Morris Minor which used to be a police panda car. He is married to a teacher and has two children.

Matt Goodman

Matt was born in Stratford and after numerous computer industry jobs, spent 33 years working for the BBC, as a Design Engineer and project manager in electronic effects, both in the UK and overseas. Matt has enjoyed making immersive VR and has worked on the technical side of music and theatre in and around London and the West End. He ran his own building business for 10 years. He has worked with people living on the street for almost 40 years, and has worked in church leadership.

Matt has a passion for the history and people of Stratford. He has two children currently at university.
